... apparently Stephen Colbert significantly affects campaign contributions (to Democrats, at least). Here's the story.

Democratic politicians receive a 40% increase in contributions in the 30 days after appearing on the comedy cable show The Colbert Report. In contrast, their Republican counterparts essentially gain nothing.

JV Games will be releasing a Nintendo Wii game entitled "Pong Toss" sometime in the near future. It is basically beer pong in a video game, but the virtual cups are filled with water for obvious reasons. Still, a new and exciting approach to America's favorite pastime.

Return of the Blog

I've spent the last month away from a computer and it has been agony. I am glad to be back.

I don't think I posted about this when the news originally came out but there are new developments. As you may or may not know, Ron Paul decided to hold an alternate convention at the same time as the GOP's, in the other Twin City.

Speakers include: (drum-roll) the-name-says-it-all Barry Goldwater, Jr., legalization-advocate-and-former-New-Mexico-governor Gary Johnson, former bow-tie-wearer Tucker Carlson, and..... former-pro-wrestler/Minnesota-governor Jesse Ventura.
