The Soviet Union has not existed for 16 years. However, apparently the .su domain name still works. According to Yahoo! Finance, registration of websites ending in .su has risen 45% in 2008 alone. Most of the sites registered are those of die-hard commie bloggers. The flame has yet to be extinguished.
